The East Side Choir is open to all adults from High School freshmen through senior adults. A prospective member must visit our rehearsal before becoming a full member. The Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The East Side Choir sings in both morning worship services and presents several seasonal concerts and other special programs throughout the year.

Do I have to be a member of the church to sing in the choir? No, we welcome anyone who wishes to join. You may become a member of The East Side Choir and sing in Sunday worship after attending our rehearsals and joining our choir.

 Do I have to audition to join the choir? No, auditions are only for solos, duets, trios, etc., or if you wish to join the Praise Team Ministry.

 If I want to sing in the Praise Team Ministry, do I need to join The East Side Choir? Yes, membership in The East Side Choir is a required to be able to audition for the Praise Team.

 Is childcare available during rehearsals? Yes, from birth—5th grade. We also offer childcare during special rehearsals and programs. 

Do I have to be able to read music to sing in the choir? No, most of our members sing by ear. You will have plenty of time to hear it and learn it. We also provide listening Cd's for choir members.  This is a great way to learn music and the CD's are a wonderful way to worship throughout your week.
